NEW ORLEANS AT NATIONAL PRESS CLUB

Washington, D.C., December 3, 2009 - Tulane University President Scott Cowen and New Orleans City Council President Arnie Fielkow, cofounders of the Fleur de Lis Ambassador program, talked about New Orleans as a potential model city for the 21st century in the areas of public education, community-based health care, reform and civic activism.

The pair spoke at a “Newsmaker Briefing”  sponsored by the National Press Club.  The event was attended by media, policy makers and friends of New Orleans.  Listen to the presentation.
